Ann Cocchiola

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

After retiring in June 2026, following thirty-nine rewarding years in public education, Ann is excited to begin a new chapter as she joins CFSA as the part-time Director of Member Services. She looks forward to continuing in her role as a Negotiator for CFSA and its members. Her career in education began as an English Language Arts teacher and Reading Consultant in North Haven Public Schools, where she spent 18 years. She then transitioned into administration, serving as Secondary Curriculum English Supervisor in East Hartford, Assistant Principal in Cromwell, Principal of Dag Hammarskjöld Middle School in Wallingford, and, for the past 13 years, Principal of Cromwell Middle School. She served on multiple negotiation committees in each district. Ann represented the Cromwell Schools Administrators’ Unit as the treasurer for over five years and was a member of their Executive Board.  She also serves on the CACAPS committee, and she is honored to be part of history where the committee is creating opportunities to bring a mentorship program to new administrators.

Ann lives in Deep River with her husband, Jeffrey, and their two rescue pups. She looks forward to bringing her experience and expertise in public education, leadership, collaboration, and relationship-building to her work with the CFSA team and its members.
